It is so ironical that my last post reminds me of the same reasons I started on this space a few years ago. Its sheer irony and not in best moods.
What goes around comes around!
I do remember at some point while writing I had this point raised by me, discussed and noted down. But there is a problem inherent with faulty human learning or purely me that just by discussing and learning about things, issues; it doesn't necessarily prepare you to become unbiased.
It happened on a scale or magnitude that I did not have the stomach to take it. It really hit me back hard and fast. It shattered me, it made me look inside again, hope it doesn't stay with the person who returned the favour for which I should always remain thankful.
But the question remains have you imbibed some remains of the impact and tried to adopt them for good or do you still consciously would commit an act of sheer recklessness again?
I know one thing for sure, the situation which arose was good enough for me to feel a choked on my guilt and maybe pride.
I know my answer and I know the question.....I just need to fix them at right time.

YouTube banning videos!
Youtube seems to have catch the copyright bug by "not displaying" many favourite videos of mine.
Starting with Roy Orbison's "I drove all night" to Evanescence "Lithium".
Seems like we are caught between the ongoing fight...
Read this for further on the above piece.

"Watchmen" reviewed....NICE!!
Saw "Watchmen" last Saturday, apart from the classic fallacies connected with the method a graphic novel adaption is seen by commoners....the movie is good.
Even though I have read the novel in bits and pieces I still found the movie adaptation a vivid and in one word: righteous.
The screen adaption done by Zack Snyder has his personal insignia imprinted all over the script with Rorschach's twisted, truthful sneer and Dr. Manhattan's discontent converted into parting illusions for audience whilst clarity of revealation for him in the movie.
On the whole during the 2 hours and 34 minutes I did feel a bit stretched but I had the promise of the novel to tide me over and the obvious reason that this wasn't 300.
A nice cider before the movie and a pint of John Smiths after that rounds it up...it was worth it and I believe that people like Snyder, Darren Aronofsky, Terry Gilliam, Guillermo Del Toro are changing the way an interested and forward-looking movie-goer percieves movies....things are getting closer to reality but still holds some promising imagery which would seem distant but enjoyable.

Labelling and quantification of happiness!!
There is a quantifiable amount of happiness everytime you get happy, that is exactly what I believe in.
When you are happy, at the end where you know things turned out right; things to follow would be fine...you are placing yourself in a pseudo-comfort zone. The method by which this pseudo-comfort zone functions is by feeding off the original happiness. Lets not sound too techinal ..eh but that being one part of the story, this momentary high leads you into believing that things around are perfect and would continue to be like that.
However thats not the case, issues and situations would always potray there inherent nature i.e. unpredictability and basing your hope...high hopes of happiness on this factor is not great and infact a bit stupid. Not great because it hurts you, stupid due to the plain fact that we never learn from it.
The obvious solution around this as it would occur at this point would be "...stop being happy and start getting your brain cluttered with all the sadness around so that you don't get affected" but this is precisely against the nature of the point I am offering; being more realistic and aware of your actions, responses and reactions is far more important and essential in preserving the nature of happy occurences and sad debacles. Learning from them is where the emphasis should be rather than getting completely sloshed when happy and terribly pessimistic when sad.
That kind off reminds me....next time note down the details as much as possible. But we don't learn easy do we ..??

Feeling leftout!!!
Though these may seem as random thoughts but still there are times when you feel a bit leftout. Not necessarily for the reason that you don't connect to people, but because there are sometimes too many of them. There's always a dearth of thoughts; increased number of people always make that sound more complicated.....therefore less promising.
These always appear to be mindless rants, complains and some pent up frustration as some might call. But to frame them altogether, they are your own thoughts...confused and piled up for you to decide which one's to pick first and forget about others. I really didn't think at that point of the evening when someone told me " you can't be mean....you can't even pretend to be mean" , you know what I am thinking and making of it now......its just like looking through your rooms window and gazing into distance while your vision is blurred by haze. You are taking your most innate and certain guess, at the end of it though its just a guess.....not truth.
I need to buy an inkpot! my diary is almost dry and my fountain pen filled up with thoughts.
Another of those paradoxes!

Windows 7
Its official people, Windows 7 is on its way and guess who is gonna take the beating this time!
a) Microsoft.
b) People purchasing Microsoft products.
c) Vista.
And the answer is.........none of the above.
The real beating would be taken by:
d) People using Vista.
Its like those old tales, with XP grinning complacently at one end, Vista taking shit from everyone (well there are 2 school of thoughts here) and the pround arrival of the promised son to the horde abandoned by Vista and protected (somewhat) by XP is Windows 7.
I read almost all the articles which are circling the news pages regarding Windows 7 and I wasn't sure which one is delivering the message right, I mean, from user point of view.
One story showed clearly that Microsoft is the house of systematic incompetence arranged in random order; and the mea culpa came from its Vice-President when he said "...we goofed up" in context of Vista.
Well in conversation terms goofing up can range from a date gone wrong to crashing LHC because they thought there's enough helium pumping through the pipes. But then in my terms right here, for Vista, it feels like I am slowly transforming into a creature with big-bunny ears, protrudment in the coccyx section(definetly a tail is on its way) and my voice sounds like braying. So who am I....a jackass struck with a copy of Vista while XP is providing safe haven, and Windows 7 is the One (Vista people can't even say we are Agent Smith, we are just randomness right now).
Frankly, with a modest laptop that I purchased with Windows Vista Home premium running capabilities, I feel fine. But, I don't feel right, because I know that this thing is capable of doing more.
Haven't really had problems with Vista till now; but a lot of blue-screens due to new software and driver upgrades, noticeable performance decline for a computer with 2 gig's of RAM and a fast enough core2duo processor. My experience with a pirated copy of XP has been better, actually in terms of stability, my old pentium 3 computer.
I don't want the Vista to be blamed for the lack of participation, understanding and co-operation which all the tech giants have showed along with Microsoft; but, some assurance regarding the stability and updates post Windows 7 launch. People have an option now, they can stick to XP and just wait for Windows 7 to be launched.
And yes, if you have a Vista compatible rig; Windows 7 performnace would be better. Win-win situation.
You can read more as I found the suitable article after all the rambling.

Cheat-Sheet to save you! (Windows Annoyances)
Like any other above-average user of humble Windows XP and over-zealous Vista I have prepared a list of annoyances which every windows user from the above 2 streams has to face.
Windows XP:
Annoyance 1
Not much of a problem after Vista surfaced, however unecessary processess are always being dumped into your system when you insert a new software....especially from large corporations bro!
Solution:
Process XP: A freeware, works with both Vista and XP; gives you a detailed account of the processess being run on the system. Spot something shady and you have an array of options to kill the process. I personally felt a lot safer with such a tool at hand even though we all know how important it gets when you have an unknown process running and yet your Antivirus seems unaware of it.

Annoyance 2
Want to cut the flab that Microsoft loads into your system in the name of OS? Well you do have some relief after the E.U sanctioned antitrust measures against Microsoft(...there again you must be using a pirated copy in India) which has launched the XP sans Media player and other stuff. So much for the load of necessities that XP brings in......flab should I say.
Solution:
nLite is a lean tool designed for cutting the crap at the installation stage itself. More details of workings can be easily found.

Windows Vista:
Where shall we start with....?
Personal problems, persistent issues or public outrage?
I would say a mixture of above issues would really be helpful and thus fruitful.
Annoyance 1:
Partitioning Issues in Vista have been beautifully illustrated by branded laptops which already come in with recovery drives. These drives tend to lock down the whole partition and thus your average windows management would be at loss and would only provide you with a list of errors.
Solution:
Acronis Disk Suite.
Annoyance 2:
User Access Control (UAC)
Solution:
I disabled it...thats all!!
Annoyance 3:
Continuous drilling seen in your hardrive (Microsoft calls it Indexing)
Solution:
If you are a frequent user of Windows search option then I presume its better to let your hardrive undergo the drill test. However, if you are not a frequent user (like most of us) please kill this indexing option by unchecking the tick in the drive properties. Continuos indexing is battery drain as well as hogs on the processor power.
